Team Biographies
 
Paul Hirons.
Paul joined the Royal Air Force in 1974 and served in the Royal Air Force for twelve years. Left the RAF and went to Oman with Airwoks Ltd to work on Contract to do Radio Communications for two years.Returned to the UK and was a Narrowboat Engineer for six months before working on the Channel Tunnel Project for eighteen months as a Communications Engineer. Paul had five beehives with him in Dover located at Whitfield, Kent.
 
When the Channel Tunnels met and Eurotunnel took over Paul left to go to the Trident Project at Faslane Submarine Base where he worked on Contract to Kennedy and Donkin as a Test and Commissioning Engineer for two and half years.
Paul returned to Rugby, Warwickshire and started his own Alarms & CCTV Company. Paul has worked on many Communications and  CCTV installations including working on the London Underground for many years.
 
A few years ago Paul started Nimrod Engineering and Communications Limited and started manufacturing small scale Engineering Projects.
 
Items Nimrod have successfully engineered are:
Wireless battery Magnetic Reversing Cameras for Trucks
A Recreational Hovercraft
Manufacturing our own Hives and Nucleus Boxes
 
Our new project Nimrod Hives is now able to supply quality Hives and a growing range of Beekeeping Equipment and Bee Products from the new Shop in Rugby.
 
Nimrod Engineering are also still Contracting our Engineering Expertise and still involved in many Engineering Projects.
 
Nimrod Engineering and Communications are looking to the future and our new business Nimrod Hives is dedicated to help save our honey bees.
