Would You Like to become a Beekeeper?
Warwick & Leamington Beekeepers are running a course for people thinking about becoming beekeepers and having their own hive of honeybees.
It would also appeal to anyone simply wanting to learn more about these fascinating, valuable & important insects.
The complete course only costs £50 and runs weekly for six evenings from 7.00pm to 9.00 pm starting 17January 2012, at the
National Beekeeping Centre Stoneleigh Park, Near Kenilworth.
The course includes an opportunity to handle bees, if you wish, at the Warwick & Leamington Beekeepers teaching apiary.
Everyone going on to keep bees and joining our Association, with the reward of their own delicious honey to look forward to, is assigned a mentor giving the reassuring involvement of an experienced beekeeper alongside to help you get started.
Practical training is provided throughout the summer at their teaching apiary
